Day 19 - June 7, 2008 - Palmer to Anchorage
After a good rest, we left the Mt View RV Park for our last part of the journey, back to Anchorage. It was a short trip
today, but on our way, when we arrived in Anchorage, we made a stop at
the Alaska Native Heritage Center. This was, to be honest, a big and expensive building, but a lot of the
same to see. Interesting was the demonstration of the various sports (high
kick, etc)
After spending about 2 hours in the Heritage Center, we continued to our
good old Creekwood Inn Motel & RV Park for the final 2 nights in our RV.
Before we checked in, we first did some more shopping (souvenirs) and filled
up our RV (fuel and propane). Also, we cleaned the outside of the RV, but
this last part was not so appreciated by the petrol station staff.
