| Day 2 - May 21, 2008 - Anchorage. After a good rest and a breakfast (included) at the Best Value Inn Executive Suites Hotel, the RV Rental Company (Cruise America) had us transferred to the Rental company office in Anchorage. I had already called the rental company from home in Holland last Monday to ask them about the pickup procedure. "Just order a cab from yellow Cab Company and come to our location. We will give the driver a voucher, you do not need to pay anything" sounded easy enough. After some "training" how to handle an RV (remember, this is the first time ever that we will use an RV), we were on our own with our new 25' friend. To make sure that all was working fine, and also to get food supplies, we made arrangements to camp in downtown Anchorage at the Creekwood Inn Motel & RV Park. We spent a few hours shopping at Wallmart and Fred Meyers and unpacking our stuff. Up to the first night.
