Day 7 - May 26, 2008 - Seward to Anchorage.

This morning we found out, that you need to empty your tanks on an almost daily basis. The grey water waste tank did overflow into the shower floor.
so, after leaving Seward, our first stop was at the dump station to empty our tanks. After that, we headed for Exit Glacier, a few miles out of Seward and the only Glacier in the USA where you can drive to the glacier, at least, according to the textbooks.
When we drove the road to the glacier, a stop sign told us that there was no access at all to the glacier, still too much snow on the road. Too bad nobody of the NPS thought about putting a sign at the beginning of that road...
We continued to Anchorage for some mores shopping and also tanking our first load of propane gas. We had only used about 2 gallons so far, so this was a cheap stop at the service station.
Our intention was to continue to Willow, but we decided to stop for the day at our RV park in Anchorage, the Creekwood Inn Motel & RV Park.
